AC Hotel Columbus

Project description

BABICHacoustics completed an environmental noise survey for Continental Real Estate, the developer of a new AC Hotel in the Arena District neighborhood of Columbus, OH. The survey was completed to evaluate the impact of highway noise on the hotel rooms. Noise data gathered was used to provide recommendations for the construction of the facade including exterior walls, windows, and mechanical louvers. BABICHacoustics worked with Meyers + Associates to review drawings and incorporate details prior to Construction Documents being released. The construction is currently underway and the project will be completed in the Spring 2021.
