Project description
BABICHacoustics completed an acoustical evaluation of a black box theater in Waller Hall on the campus of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The Department of Theater and Dance was concerned that there were strong acoustical reflections in the room. The theater is used for plays, operas, and musicals. Reverberation time (RT) and speech intelligibility were analyzed within the space. Recommendations were made to include additional acoustical treatments on the walls and assistance was given to evaluate quotes from contractors.
