BABICHacoustics provided acoustical consulting services this single family residence in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA. The homeowner was completing an interior renovation to this house and was concerned about sound and impact insulation between a bedroom and first floor living space. The floor-ceiling assembly that separates the spaces was reviewed and recommendations were made to provide a hard floor finish that meets sound and impact insulation goals for the project.
