Stalin Vera joined BABICHacoustics in 2024 and brings with him an exceptional background in acoustical consulting since 2010. He has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering – Acoustical Engineering, and Music, from the University of Hartford. Stalin’s career has taken him from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles and then to Miami, his home since 2017.

Stalin’s skills in mathematics and passion for music led him to pursue his education and career in acoustics. His professional portfolio spans residential, hospitality, mixed-use, higher education, corporate, performing arts, media production, radio, and recording studio projects. He has a strong proficiency in room acoustics, sound isolation, environmental acoustics, field measurements & troubleshooting, code compliance, HVAC noise mitigation, building systems noise and vibration control, and vibration assessments.

Stalin’s practical knowledge and field experience in various areas of acoustical consulting make him an essential addition to the team as a Senior Associate. His variety of diverse projects and his focus on team building and fostering client relationships directly correlate with our mission & vision at BABICHacoustics.

Stalin and his family are heavily involved in fundraising and raising awareness for childhood cancer. As part of Team in Training, he has participated in two fundraising road bike rides benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He traveresed the entirety of Lake Tahoe, in California and Nevada twice – totaling 144 miles! Stalin enjoys spending time with his family, attending sporting events and live music concerts, and staying active. The remaining time is dedicated to raising his kids because being a father is his biggest project!

Stalin is a Board Certified Member of the Institute of Noise Control Engineering and a LEED Green Associate, a sustainable building accreditation by the U.S. Green Building Council.
